AI powered smartphone becomes Huawei’s fastest selling device
Wednesday 22nd November, London: Huawei today announced that the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has broken all previous records for a device pre-order in Western Europe. The new AI enabled handset was launched in Munich, Germany on October 16th and has been offered for pre-sale to European consumers before the commercial launch. The device surpassed the previous records for pre-orders in Western Europe set by the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus launched in March 2017, and has exceeded internal sales targets for pre-order by over 100%.
Walter Ji, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group Western Europe said: ‘The reaction to our new Huawei Mate 10 Pro has been unprecedented – media have given the device very positive reviews and that is resulting in strong demand, even before we have begun selling on the high street. The new Mate 10 Pro and its AI capabilities have shown how amazing technology can empower your life, and people all over Europe are choosing to embrace this powerful shift in the market.’
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has been available in major markets in Western Europe since its announcement to media on October 16th 2017. Consumers who pre-ordered the device were also offered the chance to receive a Moleskine Smart Writing Set, as part of a pan-European deal between Huawei and the renowned notebook maker, Moleskine.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is available in Titanium Grey for £699 from Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone and Three. For more information, please visit: http://consumer.huawei.com/uk/phones/mate10-pro/
