LG Electronics Places Millions of Songs at Customers' Fingertips with Acclaimed Music Service Spotify
UK, December 16th, 2013 - LG Electronics (LG) today announced that Spotify, the internationally popular music service, will soon be available on LG Smart TV in the UK. The new app provides users with access to a massive collection of over 20 million songs and is compatible with all 2013 model LG Smart TVs.

The Spotify app for LG Smart TV enables premium account users to discover and enjoy new music. For only £9.99 a month, they can browse Spotify's impressive song library at their leisure. The app also makes it easy to share favourite tunes and playlists with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter. Those signing up to Spotify's service for the first time can enjoy a one-month trial, completely free of charge.
With VoD services, social media, games and more, LG's Smart TV platform offers a top-notch range of content choices. The easy-to-navigate platform brings together the best of catch-up TV including the BBC iPlayer, VoD services such as Netflix, LOVEFiLM and Blinkbox, as well as popular social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. The new Spotify app is further proof of LG's dedication to expanding the variety of content offered on its acclaimed Smart TVs.
Spotify will be available on LG Smart TV from mid-December, launching in more than 30 markets including the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Nordics, Benelux, and Mexico.
