Innovative design and high quality materials combine to create new demand for the home phone – make sure only friends and family have your home number!
New Philips Design DECT phone range now on sale at John Lewis
Better to look at and all-round that bit nicer to make a call with, the humble home DECT phone is making a come back in part thanks to the stylish new Design home phone range from Philips and partly because consumers have learned to limit their home number to just friends and family.
It’s time to be different! Led by the modern mobile phone, handset design has become, well, a bit similar, be it a black or silver, plastic or metal rectangle. And by being designed to do many things they often don’t do the one thing really well – make calls!
The new Philips Design range offers simple - yet beautiful - ergonomic designs to bring a touch of quality and originality back to the telephone. At a stroke, Philips has transformed the humble home phone into a modern work of art.
Philips’ Design phone range includes the M8 and Luceo cordless models and is now on sale in John Lewis with further models launching in store this summer.
This elegant phone is a mix of simplicity and sophistication, melding sleek aesthetics with intuitive function.
The symmetric and geometric design naturally fits into any room. Materials such as real red oak wood and die cast metal have been specially selected to ensure a high quality finish, while offering both visual and tactile appeal.
Interactive functions have been carefully considered for a distinctive user experience. The large high-resolution TFT colour display and the calibrated keypad allow effortless, easy use.
Particular care has been given to the sound quality. The innovative design of the speaker opening makes a voice crisp and natural, it’s almost like being there face-face. While a comfortable fit in the hand and to the face, makes it a dream to use for longer phone calls.
The M8 Black is available now in John Lewis for £99.95 with the white and wood model following at £129 from August.
