Press Release

London, England - 22 May 2007 - Hauppauge Digital, the world leader in PC TV technology, has announced the availability of Elgato's award-winning EyeTV software to deliver TV on a Mac using a compatible Hauppauge TV tuner. The new software means Hauppauge's range of Freeview and hybrid USB tuners will work on both PCs and Macs, giving live TV and PVR functionality to both sets of owners.

Available immediately for download via www.hauppauge.co.uk, at a discounted price of 59.99 Euros, the EyeTV software is compatible with Hauppauge's WinTV Nova-t Stick, WinTV HVR900 Hybrid Stick and WinTV NovaTD Stick with Antenna Diversity.

With EyeTV installed, Hauppauge TV stick owners can watch and record TV on their Mac, browse the programme guide, export video to ipods, drag and drop recordings to their playlists, even record one programme whilst watching another recording with picture-in-picture.

"Traditionally the TV hardware products for PCs and Macs have been quite different," commented Yehia Oweiss, UK Managing Director and Vice President of Sales, EMEA for Hauppauge Digital. "For the first time, a WinTV tuner will work on both a PC and a Mac, opening new opportunities for owners who want to move products between several machines."

"Apple's move towards Intel CPUs brings the Mac and Windows worlds closer together," said Dr. Markus Fest, Managing Director, Elgato Systems. "EyeTV enables Mac users who run multiple operating systems to get the most out of their Hauppauge WinTV tuners."

EyeTV is a Universal Binary application that has been optimized for both PowerPC and Intel Core processors.
