PRESS RELEASE

LAS VEGAS - At the company's first CES under the Gibson Brands umbrella, WOOX Innovations will be introducing a host of new Philips Audio products with a focus on a wider range of Fidelio AV sound solutions including the company's first ‘high end' soundstage.

There will also be a wider range of Fidelio headphones, new sports headphones and new Bluetooth speakers  - including and the waterproof ShoqBox mini - plus the unique NX5 Pro party tower speaker complete with led party lights.

Home Cinema - Soundstage joins the Fidelio family

Soundstages have been one of the largest growth areas in the past 12 months and two new

Philips models are being unveiled at CES 2015 as 3.1 products complete with subwoofers.

The Fidelio XS1, is an ultra slim, glass topped soundstage - the first soundstage in the Philips Fidelio range. As a finely tuned 3.1 channel system, with front and side firing drivers coupled with a

super slim wireless subwoofer, this soundstage fills the room with powerful, full range sound and the precise audio quality signature that the Philips Fidelio range is known for.

The durable yet elegant glass top can hold a TV up to 65" in size while high-quality aptX Bluetooth connectivity ensures you can get the best out of music stored on portable devices too.

Also new at CES is the Philips HTL5130 a 3.1 channel soundstage featuring unique WaveFlector technology, which employs a new sound reflection architecture to deliver the widest-ever sound experience from any Philips soundstage to-date. In addition to the WaveFlector technology, the HTL5130 also has a dedicated center channel speaker for superior voice clarity, an inbuilt subwoofer plus Bluetooth connectivity.

CES marks the official introduction of the successor to the ultra successful Fidelio HTL9100 with the Fidelio B5 now on sale and was also announced as worthy winner of a CES 2015 Innovations Award.

Philips is also launching the ultra-sleek, yet powerful HTL7140 sound bar with wireless subwoofer. The HTL7140 is incredibly slim yet boasts 5.1 channel immersive audio much wider than its size would suggest and thanks to Philips proprietary Ambisound technology it creates a sound stage that is far beyond its own length.

5.1 Home Cinema  - in style

Adding a touch of style to your room, the Philips Zenit cinema speaker systems are also launching at CES 2015. Designed to provide the highest quality sound output from your entertainment sources - from enjoying Ultra HD content to wirelessly streaming music from your devices - the Zenit speaker systems bring the sounds of your favorite music and films to life.

The Zenit system has the latest technologies such as Bluetooth and HDMI 4K/2K pass through, packed in a design representing the purest form of balance and simplicity. Available in two versions, the Philips CSS5330 includes a center speaker, two additional satellite speakers and a wireless subwoofer while the Philips CSS5530 steps up to a 5.1 system with the addition of two wireless rear speakers to provide greater sound immersion from all angles and without unsightly wire connections. Both systems are available in stone grey and wood, or black and aluminum finishes.

Headphones

Previewed at IFA, CES 2015 sees the official launch of the Fidelio M2L, the first Philips headphone - and one of the first on the market - to have a direct digital connection to your iOS device via a Lightning TM connector.

Kicking off a revolution in high resolution audio for headphones, the M2L incorporates high-quality 24-bit Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC) and amplification in the headphones themselves. The result: an immersive musical experience enabling you to hear every detail, just as the artist intended.

One further addition to the successful Philips Fidelio range of headphones is the super-slim, super lightweight Fidelio F1, delivering high definition sound quality in a headphone that is ultra-portable and offers a compact, flat folding design. The F1s utilize an acoustic closed-back design that keeps the sound in and ambient noise out.  Designed for discerning music lovers who don't compromise on sound or style, wherever they are, the F1s are the perfect travel companion.

Also launching at CES 2015 are the latest additions to the Philips ActionFit Sport headphone range.

Featuring four new lightweight yet durable designs:  the SHQ1300 ‘shark-finned' ear-bud, SHQ2300 ear-bud, SHQ3300 earhook and SHQ4300 neckband designs - the new Philips ActionFit sports headphones are about performance, power, endurance and motivation.

Made with washable, sweat-proof, antimicrobial materials, the Philips ActionFit range of sports headphones are ideal workout companions for fitness enthusiasts. All of the new range are available in bright, fresh colours inspired by the latest sports fashion trends, and deliver pure sound in a comfortable and secure fit.
