Hauppauge allows all gamers to create their own logos which can be 'burnt' into their game play recordings
London, UK, 28th September 2012 Hauppauge Digital, Inc.(NASDAQ: HAUP), the world's leading developer and manufacturer of TV tuners and HD video recorders, has added a brand new feature to its latest gaming product announced recently during Gamescom, the HD PVR 2. The new Personal Logo feature allows gamers to add their own graphic to their recorded games so that everyone will see their logos whilst watching their game play on YouTube.
As seen in most professional broadcasts, the logo appears in the lower right hand corner of the TV screen, similar position to TV channel branding. This latest free upgrade to Hauppauge's HD PVR 2 requires no additional CPUusage or any delays whilst recording and can be created in Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop or other graphics applications such as BMP, JPEG, GIF or PNG files.
Along with a pro-quality HD video encoder, Hauppauge's latest release is considered the best yet allowing gamers to record in H.264, the video format used to make HD Blu-ray discs. To make installation easy, HD PVR 2 gaming edition has ‘no delay' HDMI pass through. This means that gamers can connect HD PVR 2 between either a Sony Playstation®3 or Xbox® 360 and a HD TV set using HDMI and play and record their game live without any delay.
Gamers can share their best video game-play with friends on YouTube by using the included Showbiz application to record and then upload videos.
Now available at www.scan.co.uk or www.amazon.co.uk, HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition is priced at £159.99 and features high definition HDMI and Component video recording up to 1080p/30, plus HDMI ‘no delay pass-through' so gamers can record their game play while playing on a TV monitor. All cables necessary to record game-play, including HDMI in and out cables plus a special PS3 Component video cable are included.
