What about ARM?

What Oistamo didn't mention was that this long and rich heritage has revolved around processors designed by members of the ARM ecosystem, with which Intel is becoming increasingly competitive.

This looks like a victory for Intel over ARM, in the short term at least, and it will be interesting to see if Nokia launches a similar device using something like the Snapdragon or Tegra chipsets in the near future.

Then again, maybe there's already some NVIDIA action in it. Nokia's slick video for the Booklet (below) stresses it's HD ready and even has an HDMI port for HD out. It's hard to see how this could be achieved unless the Atom processor had some help from NVIDIA's ION graphics. Unless the CPU is a PineView, that is...

More details, including price, availability and specs will be announced at Nokia World on 2 September.

10“ screen but should really be an 11” looking at that bezel
Windows 7? Still unconvinced about that on netbooks

Def. looks like Windows 7 is on it from the video.

I have the Acer Aspire One with 512mb ram - Windows 7 ran great on it. If the Nokia booklet has a good specification, some sort of better graphics (ion or by using pineview), then I think it could be a great product.
nice, this might be the one! (i get).
