X2?

The definition of a Puma system is a Turion Ultra processor and the 780G chipset. The Pa3553 has discrete graphics on top of the 780G, with the hybrid designation indicating the ability of the integrated graphics to supplement the 3470.

Observant readers will have spotted the X2 after the graphics name. We understand that this is an FSC designation, probably emphasising the Hybrid feature, rather than an AMD one. So don't go thinking they've suddenly introduced a dual GPU option for notebooks all of a sudden.

You will also notice, if you click on the links, that Argos is saying they're currently out of stock. It's not clear whether this is because they've sold out or just haven't received any yet, but the FSC site says they're available in the UK from August 2008.

well if Acer dont fix the issue with other half's lappy… I can see me getting one of these for a replacement instead. Intel GMA sucks and if nVidia thinks i'm going to buy another nVidia gfx lappy they got another thing coming.

Plus… her lappy was 800quid. i can get her the blueray edition and 100quid change :P
can u even max out any of the latest games on them?
