Small Windows
Having made a noise about its Windows for Nettops yesterday, Microsoft chose to focus attention on Windows Mobile 6.1 on its stand at Computex 2008.
HTC account manager at Microsoft, Victor Chen, explained that chief among the benefits of 6.1 over 6 was the improvement it offers to handset battery life as well as the ability to create virtual private networks (VPNs).
Here is Chen with his HTC Diamond handset, which uses Windows Mobile 6.1 to create an iPhone-like user interface.
And here’s one of his assistants getting to grips with her Windows Mobile 6.1 device.
The space devoted to other types of mobile device running Windows on Microsoft's stand was surprisingly small.
