3UK, Spotify and HTC Hero join forces to make the internet’s hottest music service, truly mobile

This November, 3 UK will launch an exciting three way partnership with Spotify - the world's most talked-about music service and multiple award winning* HTC Hero. With a history in mobile music and an unrivalled emphasis on mobile internet, 3 is the first UK operator to bundle Spotify Premium into a compelling tariff and handset offer.

The HTC Hero will be the first Android handset to launch on 3. Featuring a highly responsive touch screen, excellent internet experience and 5MP camera, the HTC Hero gives customers the flexibility to personalise their handset with multiple home screens and thousands of applications available from  Android Marketplace.  With internet credentials like these, the HTC Hero is a perfect partner for 3's network which is designed and built for the mobile internet.

Spotify on 3 delivers  this extensive jukebox over its 3G network and provides access to playlists while offline. 

Spotify Mobile will initially be available only on the HTC Hero. For £35 a month over 24 months and an upfront fee of £99, the package includes;

  • Unlimited Spotify Premium for mobile and PC for 24months (worth £240)
  • 750 minutes to other mobiles
  • Unlimited texts
  • Unlimited 3 -to - 3 calls
  • Unlimited email, internet browsing and Facebook®
  • Free SkypeTM-to -Skype calls
