Warrington, United Kingdom - 28th January 2013 - VIP Computers, one of the UK's largest independent distributors of components, peripherals and consumer products has today announced the appointment of two new team members, further demonstrating that even in times of economic hardship VIP Computers continues to buck the trend.
After absorbing sister company Realtime and unveiling a £1.6m warehouse expansion, VIP continues to invest in their business with two new members of staff joining the distributor.
Frazer Hamilton joins as a Product Manager. He comes from a strong background dealing with major accounts such as Samsung, Sony and LG where he had a similar role within the distribution sector. Hamilton said: "It's an exciting time to be joining VIP. The merger with Realtime, and the expansion of the operation in Warrington shows that in what is a tough time for distribution, VIP is finding the key areas of growth. It's investment to the channel, with close support to its customers and vendors, was one of the main reasons I wanted to join VIP."
Mindful of the high standards VIP set, Hamilton is keen to bring a fresh eye to the business and further develop the opportunities presented by the new vendors introduced through the merger with Realtime, and he looks forward to contributing to another year of economic growth within VIP Computers.
Also joining the ranks is Amanda Baxter, she has come on board joining the Accounts Department. Baxter has over six years experience in accountancy previously working within corporate giants such as Morrison's PLC Group and Yorkshire Bank.
