I.R.I.S started in 1987 as a spin-off from a university lab specialized in Optical Character Recognition. IRIS has grown enormously since 1992, developing and providing new technologies and products for Intelligent Document Recognition, marketing their portfolio worldwide. I.R.I.S offer professional solutions to companies and government bodies enabling them manage their documents, information flows and IT infrastructure more effectively.
Gem Distribution is thrilled to launch the new IRIS range, including IRISCompressor, IRISCompressor Pro and Readiris 14 pro, to the market. IRISCompressor uses a unique compression technology, enabling the user to create standard, searchable PDF files up to 5 times smaller than the original images at a click of a button. IRISCompressor Pro drastically reduces the size of your image files in a single click, creating standard, searchable PDF files up to 20 times smaller than the original image, enabling multiple images to be merged into one compressed PDF file. Finally, Readiris pro enables us to scan and edit paper documents turning them into editable text, in over 130 recognized languages.
