Warrington, 17th October 2011 - Leading Cheshire-based IT distributor, VIP Computers has secured their place in The Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 for the second year running, ranking among the UK's top 250 independently owned mid-sized companies.
Published on Sunday 16th October, the Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain's private companies with the biggest sales. VIP Computer's success in achieving a placement in the Top Track 250 for the second consecutive year was based on sales figures to June 2011 which peaked at £177 million.
Ranked 223, VIP Computers takes its place alongside household names including Manchester United, Boden, Betfred, McClaren, Dreams, Aston Martin, Selfridges and Harvey Nicols. The 250 companies in attendance are responsible for sales of £33billion and employ almost 500,000 people.

The Top Track 250 is compiled by Fast Track, an Oxford-based networking events and research company which champions top-performing private companies.
