AMD was spared the wooden spoon, however, by a 17.42 percent drop in Apple's shares. Perhaps even more worrying for Apple investors was the fact that most of this fall came prior to the bailout vote announcement after some analysts downgraded estimates on Apple stock amid concerns that its premium priced products may suffer a drop-off in sales during the economic slowdown.
