What next?

The bill will be resubmitted and will probably pass before the end of the legislative year next Monday. The administration only has to swing 12-13 Representatives, and those who make a deal first will be showered with goodies for their constituencies. Furthermore, many constituents may find their objections to "bailing out the fat-cats" fading as they watch their investments dwindle.

The other semiconductor companies have continued to suffer great volatility in their share prices, with NVIDIA's dropping by nearly 14 percent and threatening single figures again, while AMD's stock is back to square one after a recent rally having dropped by nearly 17 percent today.
