Spraying Guide

STEP 1: Buy materials. Nissan Starburst Silver spray paint from Halfords and some Wet and Dry 1500 grit paper.




STEP 2: Sand back the facia using the wet and dry paper.



STEP 3: Wash the facia under warm water with a detergent. Then rinse and blow all the dust and dirt away.




STEP 4: Prepare area where you are going to be spraying.




STEP 5: A few very light coats of the silver paint to act as a gripper.






STEP 6: Leave to Dry
I left it to dry for a few hours then went and sprayed a few more coats of paint on.










STEP 7: Spray on your final couple of coats of paint. Leave to dry for 1 hour or so then spray on 3 light evenly coats of clear lacquer.
The finished product.

After about 5 layers of very light coats of paint, then 2 more layers. Then I covered the whole thing with 3 very light coats of clear lacquer.
