Performance difference are generally caused by an extra 10% clock speed for the FX-51 CPU.



You get the picture now. An Athlon 64 Model 3200 is generally between 10-15% behind an FX-51. The percentage differs from application to application.



Not entirely unexpected.



Here's something specific to the Zalman / Poweroid PC. Maxtor's quiet 250GB SATA drive sounded like a train when running HDTach's disk analysis. You wouldn't hear it in most other PCs. It's positively annoying in this one.
