Notes

We're testing three kits on the brand-new Core i9/Z490 platform. There's our standard G.Skill set that runs at 3,200MHz at tight 14-14-14-34-2T timings. We also have our high-frequency pack used for testing the limits of motherboards, which runs at a lofty 4,800MHz at looser 18-24-24-46-2T settings. Between those two is the Dominator Platinum RGB White.

Overclocking with 1.5V was suitably impressive, with the test kit able to achieve the same DDR4-4800 CL18 speeds as the high-speed comparison. On the other end of the scale, it managed the tight 14-14-14-34-2T timings at 3,200MHz, making it able to replicate the performance of both comparison kits. There's certainly good range in the underlying ICs.
