Benchmarks and Conclusion

Benchmarks were all run at 130/330Mhz with a Creative Labs Annihilator Pro running the 5.14 leaked drivers and three runs were averaged. All settings at 1024x768 were at maximum and all details and eye candy were turned on.

3 Arena Demo001

Custom 1024x768 (69.3) High Quality(110.9) Fastest(145.6)

3 Arena Demo002

Custom 1024x768 (67.4) High Quality (107.4) Fastest (140.9)

Conclusion: I feel that the SY-7VCA is a very solid contender in the market of main boards for Intel processors. This could very well be the best board available for socketed processors. It has plenty of feature and expansion possibility, efficient layout on the PCB, and the memory performance is improving with every BIOS release. I bought one to put in a friends box and would put one in mine. With Intel’s plans to make future processors all socketed I think the SY-7VCA is the best main board to purchase for today as well as tomorrow.
