Remember when gaming laptops used to quiver in fear when you'd move more than a metre from a power outlet? Those days seem to be behind us. Gigabyte's P35X v5 managed to keep looping a high-definition movie clip for almost six hours with screen brightness at 50 per cent and all wireless radios disabled.
That's not a patch on some of the latest Ultrabooks or tablets, but for a gaming machine with so much performance on offer, 347 minutes is a good return.
