Our opinion hasn't changed since the introduction of the GeForce 8800 GTS 320 SKU a few months' back. It remains, for now, the best overall bet on the low side of £200 and any NVIDIA partner would be foolish not to have at least one in their respective line-ups.

ASUS understands that competition is tough when releasing such an attractive SKU. Rather than paying over the odds for a hugely overclocked effort right out of the box, ASUS has chosen to concentrate on the value proposition, bolstered by an attractive bundle and three-year warranty.

The £190-priced ASUS EN8800GTS/HTDP/320, then, performs practically identically to a stock-clocked 8800 GTS 320, which is good, especially with the newest drivers, but outdoes other sub-£200 GTS 320s by offering a comprehensive bundle with two full games and a plethora of other ASUS-branded software.

Bottom line: you can buy cheaper GeForce 8800 GTS 320s, you can buy faster-clocked models, too, but ASUS' well-rounded package should be put on your shortlist if your next graphics-card upgrade is likely to be at around the £200 mark.

That seems like good value, and as an Asus man historically, it would be on my short list.

Quite staggering fps at such huge resolutions…the gamer in 2007 has got to be a happy camper…..oh…camping is not cool….a happy fragger :)

cheers for the review, i was siding to a 640mb of the 8800gts until i saw this, seems no point spending extra if the 320mb version happily runs a 24inch tft at the resolutions and settings tested!
