--- Thermal Performance, Conclusion and Certification

Thermal Performance

The Tower 120 returned some impressive cooling results to take joint second place.

Idle temperatures were respectable in all categories – including 42 degrees for the CPU. Under load, performance was no less impressive.

A maximum CPU reading of just 52 degrees delivered another joint second.

Even though the Tuniq Tower 120 is one of the tallest coolers in this review, it fitted into the Antec 900 without any issues – the side panel had a good few couple of centimetres to spare when shut.

Conclusion

You can forgive the extended fitment time when the Tuniq 120 produces such solid results. For a small company that sells just one cooler, Tuniq has done well to become so popular with the extreme-enthusiast market. Once we tested it ourselves, we understood why many of our forum readers rave about how good it is.

Clearly, the claims made by users are well founded – the Tuniq Tower 120 is a highly proficient cooler. That makes it more of a shame that distribution, at the moment, is a bit limited.
