--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

Just like the Blue Orb II, the Ruby's mounting system uses wing plates directly attached to the top side of the motherboard. In fact, as far as mounting goes, everything is exactly the same.

Ruby makes a change from the usual blooo and it's a nice change.

Well, seeing that everything is identical, let's move on to the fitment time.

Fitment Time

Although the Ruby clocked in at 598 seconds (9 minutes 58 seconds), it does, as we said, use the same mounting system as the Blue Orb II. Clearly, our having installed one made the second one quicker and easier.

However, for no reason we can explain, there was another factor. We found it easier to correctly position and secure the spring screws on the Ruby than we did on the Blue Orb II. But, the Ruby would probably still have fared worse than 19th if we hadn't had prior experience with the Blue Orb II.
