COMET is teaming up with home-grown computer manufacturer MESH to offer customers the opportunity to configure and purchase MESH systems on the COMET web site.

A myriad of configurations are touted, encompassing a wide range of systems priced from £349 to over £2,200. The aim is to ensure that COMET customers have the pick of the crop and tailor-made solutions to suit their needs.

And, even if you buy via COMET, you still get a full MESH on-site warranty.

MESH claims to have amassed direct sales from 500,000-plus customers since 1987 and to have built more award-winning systems over the past 20 years than any other UK company.

It reckons that its success is down to a fusion of quality, performance and value - and says that this is the same ethos upon which it aims to deliver satisfaction to COMET customers.

All sounds very positive and is certainly a bit more uplifting than the news that broke late today about Evesham going into administration.

MESH started selling PCs through Comet a while ago. I guess this is the next step.
hopefully comet will offer better support on the pc's than mesh currently do.
