Looks as though South Korean manufacturer LG is getting ready to enter the nettop market with a system dubbed the XPION X30.
The nettop, pictured below by Japanese site akihabaranews.com, is said to incorporate a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and NVIDIA's GeForce 9400M-packing ION chipset.
That's joined by 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive and Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. Though, the latter is certain to be replaced by Windows 7 in a little over a month.
Details on connectivity options remain slim, but we're told the system features six USB ports and weighs roughly 1.1kg. Given the ION innards, we'd be surprised not to find HDMI output and Wi-Fi connectivity. There's no word on availability or pricing as of yet, but it looks as though LG will also be offering a mounting bracket allowing for the nettop to be attached to the back of your display.
Another useful HTPC contender, we reckon, but we'd like to see a model equipped with the dual-core Intel Atom 330.
