Show Your Spots in Gateway competition
California-based computer hardware manufacturer, Gateway, subsidiary of Acer, is running a competition titled "Show Your Spots" via its official website.
The competition offers a grand prize of a Gateway FX540 PC, which for the record isn't even for sale yet, along with a XHD3000 1600p 30" LCD screen. The FX540 PC boasts the following specification:
- Factory-Overclocked Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme QX6850 Quad-Core Processor
- Genuine Windows® Vista™ Home Premium Edition
- Dual NVIDIA® 8800 GTX Graphics Cards
- 4GB Memory
- 1TB Hard Drive Capacity
- Hybrid HD-DVD™/Blu-ray™ Drive
- 16x Double-Layer DVD Burner
What do you have to do in order to stand a chance of winning? Well, it's not as easy as answering questions or completing a survey. No sir, Gateway say they want to make the competition more fun. So, all you've got to do is "create a video to show us what crazy, outrageous and funny things you would do to win the FX540 and XHD3000", say Gateway. There is one more thing, your video has to include a Holstein cow.

The competition is open to U.S. residents only, we presume that's due to the fact that outrageous behaviour seems to stem most from that direction. Fortunately, there aren't any user contributed videos on the YouTube Show Your Spots group just yet. It'll be interesting to see what disastrous material this competition serves up, let us hope that no cows are harmed.
