Intel is putting warranty duration where its mouth is, by announcing an extension for 320 Series SSDs.

Upped from 3-years to 5-years, Intel declares that the move reinforces its view that the enhanced reliability features that have been introduced with the third-gen 320 Series SSDs, are doing the trick.

Existing owners need not fear, as the announced warranty extension applies to these situations, as well as new purchases.

Extended warranties are always welcome. Out of interest though, do the SSD warranties cover flash memory wear?
What else is there to cover? ;)

Yes, I believe it does.
