The SandForce SF-2200 series SSD controller is certainly making many appearances - in SKUs from the likes of OCZ and Corsair, for example. Today, ADATA can be added to the list.

The S511 SSD boasts the expected maximum sequential read/write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 520MB/s, respectively, and aided by its SATA 6Gbps connectivity, is said to deliver 4K random write speed performance rated up to 60,000 IOPS. In simple terms, ADATA states that transferring 5GB worth of media archives can be completed in as little as 15 seconds, and that in its own testing, the S511 managed to boot up Windows 7 in 25 seconds.

The company doesn't detail its pricing strategy just yet, but expect to find the S511 shipping in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.
