Connectivity, SLI and CrossFireX

Just above the memory slots sits Intel's Socket LGA1366, but it's surrounded by an unusual eight holes. That'd be because Bloodrage can house CPU coolers designed for Socket LGA775 or Socket LGA1366, very handy.

There are ample connectivity ports, including six SATA, two eSATA, two SAS, twelve USB, two FireWire, a single PATA interface, and dual Gigabite Ethernet, too.

Over to the PCIe slots and Bloodrage has SLI and CrossFireX configurations covered with four PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. The four-way setup allows for CrossFireX configurations of two GPUs as x16, x16, or four GPUs as x8, x8, x8, x8.

For SLI users, it'll allow three GPUs as x16, x8, x8, as well as an additional PhysX card. On top of all that, there's a single PCIe x1 and a single PCI slot, too.

Then there's the very interesting chipset cooler. Known as the "4in1 Quantum Cooler", it features a copper base plate and connects to the CPU PWMs and southbridge via copper heatpipes. What's more impressive is that it's bundled with four interchangeable accessories that allow for passive, active, water or extreme cooling.

Speaking of bundled kit, Bloodrage comes armed with an impressive array of accessories.
