We're quite fond of MSI's Wind U100 netbook, but its biggest drawback, we feel, is its £330 price-tag.
Fortunately, those on the lookout for a perfect netbook can find MSI's Wind rebranded as the Advent 4211 at PC World or Currys. The Advent 4211, which is essentially a Wind U100 in a different colour, retails at £280 - considerably less than MSI's own model.
Later this year, the Wind U100 will once again be rebranded, this time by Sylvania - a US-based manufacturer that has been attempting to crack the netbook market with a selection of rebranded models. Its latest offering, the Sylvania MAGNI, is a Wind U100 in a dark-grey shell.
Judging by the image, Sylvania doesn't appear to have made any other changes. We're assuming the MAGNI's internal specification will match MSI's Wind, but we're hoping its price will fall to Advent 4211 levels, or lower.
No official word on availability just yet, but expect it to arrive in time for Christmas.
