But what is it?
Shortly before the launch of the GeForce 8 series (which XFX was of course involved in), XFX sent out word of a new website it had set up and a new event it had planned, the Xtreme Xperience.
So what the hell is it?
Well, the website is XFXXtremeXperience.com, and for now it's just a blog with a little intro to the site, along with some fanfare for the new GeForce 8800s. However, here's the gist of Xtreme Experience (XtXp) from a press release we were sent:
XFX not only provides you with cool graphics products, but also offers great service and outstanding quality. On top of that we are about to launch a new campaign with chances to win a great XFX Xtreme Xperience.
The lucky winners will be invited to choose from different Xtreme Sports activities. They will also receive the coolest XFX Xtreme Xperience gear including an assignment to record their own Xtreme Xperience. All photo and/or video reports will be posted on the XtXp website and will enter another [open] Xtreme Xperience contest. The best reporter will be awarded with a very special Xtreme XFX prize.
Xtreme Sports eh? XFX isn't saying any more until it kicks the whole thing off. That'll happen tomorrow, so if you're interested in what they're up to, check back in a day!
