It's a similar situation over at European retailer Alternate.de. A wide variety of cards are listed, but stock is limited, with only Sapphire's Radeon HD 5970 OC currently available. Prices start at a relatively-high €599 (roughly £530).

Across the pond, U.S. retailer Newegg.com is still waking up and doesn't appear to have updated its inventory just yet - we expect the popular outlet to list Radeon HD 5970 products later in the day.

Are you in the market for a Radeon HD 5970? Or are the days of £450+ graphics cards numbered? Share your thoughts in the HEXUS.community forums.

You might want to correct scan prices seems they have decided to price gouge as well
Holy moley.
Wonder what direction Rollo's FUD is going to take to discredit this thing absolutely beasting anything nVidia has out right now.
Overclockers have had solid stock, and they're going fast. £570ish I think
You know what I really need? Another article that mentions this card is “fastest in the world”.

Right after I just bought a 4890 3 days ago cuz this wasn't in stock.
