AMD's Radeon HD 4850 has been with us for just a matter of days, and its HD 4870 is yet to be launched. Nonetheless, AMD has found the need to issue a hotfix.
The hotfix, #737-35298 in AMD's knowledge base, includes the Display Driver and Catalyst Control Centre, and is said to "improve overall performance and stability".
It's available from the official AMD support website for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of both Windows XP and Windows Vista. AMD hasn't provided any specific details on the hotfix itself, but users are already proclaiming gains in performance.
