ARCTIC has unleashed its Accelero Mono PLUS VGA cooler, utilising a universal mounting mechanism design, together with a single 120mm PWM fan.
With a maximum cooling capacity of 200W, the Accelero Mono PLUS is equipped to support a range of graphics cards - from the stables of both AMD and NVIDIA. From current product generations, AMD's HD 6950, HD 6870, HD 6790 and HD 6770 offerings are supported, whilst on NVIDIA's side of the equation, the GTX 560 Ti, GTX 560 and GTX 550 Ti are covered.
Priced at an MSRP of $59.95 US Dollars, we're told that the Accelero Mono PLUS takes advantage of a low noise impeller design and patented fan holder, together with five heatpipes, to deliver cooling performance and low operating noise. In addition, ARCTIC tells us that the use of an electrically non-conductive thermal glue - known as G-1 - to affix VRM and RAM heatsinks, contributes to enhanced cooling in these areas too.
