Swiss cooling-solution provider, Arctic Cooling, has today launched its RC Turbo Module. We've seen the device at CeBIT in March '08, we've seen it at COMPUTEX earlier this month, and we'll finally be seeing it in stores next month.

The dual-fan cooler, pictured below, attaches to Arctic RC-cooled memory and promises to lower temperatures that little bit further.

A 74 per cent drop in temperature, when compared to RAM without a cooler, is achieved via two 1500rpm 60mm fans that are said to be "extremely quiet", ideal for the discerning overclocker.

Arctic Cooling states that the RC Turbo Module is suitable for one to four RAM modules, and comes complete with a six year limited warranty. If it's the RAM-cooler you've been waiting for, it'll be available in July at a MSRP of €8.95 excluding VAT.

I'd like to see how it fares against the OCZ XTC Cooler

which imo looks a bit better :D

Price is good though, but the OCZ one doesn't void ram warranty as it fits onto the ram with heatspreaders :)

But I must say the XTC is bloody hard to get in the UK…

Everyone is always out of stock!!!

:angst:
i would love to know if its capable of staying in place with plastic clips, if it does i will buy one as its less restrictive than the ocz model, and the corsair one is pants with small fans at 4.5k

mind u looking at the other pics it wont fit anything other than the ram its designed for, oh well ocz here we come

I'll let you know how it does when I get mine. My mobo can hit 60 when running prime with my ballistix's
Whats “Acrtic Cooling”….arctic maybe?
now this is something. but with those fans protruding out wondering if it will hit some of the other components on the board - maybe a bad design?
