eMachines Selects ATI RADEON(tm) 9100 IGP to Power New Desktop PC

MARKHAM, ON/ Munich, Germany - March 17, 2004 - ATI Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ATYT; TSX: ATY), today announced that the RADEONTM 9100 IGP, the world's most powerful, feature-rich integrated graphics processor, will power eMachines new 5210 desktop PC.

The 5210 desktop PC is now shipping, and is exclusively available at Dixons Group PLC, one of Europe's largest computer retailers. "The addition of the RADEON 9100 IGP allows us to offer our customers a no compromise visual experience, ensuring they can support a wide range of 3D gaming and multimedia applications."

In addition to featuring RADEON 9100 IGP graphics, the eMachines 5210 also includes an Intel® Pentium® 4 processor, 512 MB DDR RAM, 80 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, and CD-RW and DVD Drives, and an 8-in-1 front panel media reader.

The RADEON 9100 IGP will be on display at CeBIT 2004 (Hall 23, Stand C04), which takes place March 18-24 in Hannover Germany.
