London, UK – 8th September 2009: MESH Computers today announced the launch of its Ice5 range of personal computers, with system unit prices starting at just £599 inc vat.
When Intel launched its powerful Nehalem technology in November 2008, the Core i7 processor quickly became a firm favourite with high-end enthusiasts, professional users and game players.
With the launch of the Core i5 processor, Intel is making the next generation of intelligent performance available at a lower price point, which will appeal to a much wider audience.
MESH Computers, the UK’s number one award winner, has created the MESH Ice5 range to deliver this new processor to market – with systems like the MESH Ice5 750x starting at just £599 inc vat.
Tony Riccardi, Sales and Marketing Director for MESH Computers said, “In addition to our popular black chassis, MESH will also be offering a special edition, all-white version – which perfectly encapsulates the clear, cool imagery of the MESH Ice5 range”.
Giving his customers a glimpse of what is to come, Riccardi said, “MESH Ice5 systems are available immediately and, for gaming enthusiasts, we will be launching full DirectX 11 versions very soon”.
In terms of positioning, Riccardi was clear “Many customers want to own processors built on Intel’s powerful Nehalem architecture and the Core i5 series will make that dream possible to many more”.
Available immediately, the MESH Ice5 range starts at £599 inc vat and goes through to the Ice5 Pro at £999
