The latest generation of software provides greater ease-of-use and is fully compatible with OS X El Capitan
Bitdefender, the innovative security solutions provider, has launched its new Antivirus for Mac software to offer both maximum convenience and protection that has been proven 100% effective in independent tests.
The latest generation of Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac eliminates annoying adware, malicious hijacker programs and unwanted toolbars with its new Adware Protection. Bitdefender Autopilot for Mac has also been added to ensure maximum ease-of-use.
The greater ease-of-use adds to the already well-established effectiveness of Bitdefender software. In testing by independent research firm AV-TEST, Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac caught 100% of the malware directed towards it. Furthermore, the software gave off no false positives, meaning that it offers complete protection for users without mistaking good files for bad ones.

AV-TEST trials earlier this year concluded Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac offers best Protection and Best Performance, stopping all malware with an extremely low impact on system performance. That testing showed a difference of only 7/10 of a second between the reference, an unprotected Mac, and a Mac protected by Bitdefender when transferring a 26.6 GB file.
