CyberLink YouCam Bundled with NEC’s New Line of LaVie Light Netbooks

Taipei, TaiwanJuly 7, 2009—CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected media lifestyle, is pleased to announce that NEC has chosen to bundle CyberLink’s leading webcam application, YouCam, with their latest LaVie Light BL300/310/350 netbooks. The first-time collaboration between NEC and CyberLink offers consumers a whole new level of fun and productivity with their webcam on the BL300 netbook series.

"YouCam for NEC" was customized and developed based on CyberLink’s YouCam platform enabling users to enjoy a variety of effects, avatars, recording features and direct uploading of captured videos/photos to YouTube and Facebook.  On top of all the fun and amusing features, YouCam can also be used as a productivity tool allowing consumers the freedom to instantly share files and deliver live presentations.
