Fully ATX 2.2 compliant – Power ratings up to 620Watts
Enermax UK has just announced a completely new range of power supply units for the PC. Known as the Liberty series, the new supplies incorporate many of the technology developments used by the company in its established ranges, together with a new modular cabling system.The Enermax Liberty series is one of the few PC supplies available to be fully compliant with the ATA standard 2.2, and with three models delivering up to 620 Watts is capable of powering even the most state of the art PCs with the latest CPU families. The Liberty series is fully approved for both SLI and Crossfire dual PCI Express graphics systems.
Specifications include full compliance with the highest standard to desktop power requirements. Split 12V rails provide the most stable current to CPU, GPU , MB and drives. This includes full support for Dual Core systems (incl. Pentium D EE and Athlon 64 X2) as well as Dual CPU systems.
Enermax modular cabling system provides a smarter cable choice and better cable routing for a neat and tidy case. Its unique pairing of 4-pin Molex + SATA connectors give users free choice on using either PATA or SATA devices. In addition the mainboard connectors feature a convertible design to power up ATX/BTX systems and support dual CPU based entry-level server/workstation configurations.
Like other models in the Enermax range, the Liberty series is designed to be quiet and efficient. A special design 12cm fan combines silence and cooling under intelligent speed control. High efficiency of about 80% under wide load range (30-100%) minimizes demands on the AC supply keeping user running costs down. Auto switching with a PF value of up to 0.99 provides stable and clean power from any AC supply in the range 100-240VAC.
Finally, with its six levels of protection, the Enermax Liberty series has one of the highest protection standards on the market today. This latest advanced design offers OCP - Over Current Protection, UVP - Under Current Protection, OVP - Over Voltage Protection, OLP - Over Load Protection, OTP - Over Temperature Protection, and SCP - Short Circuit Protection.
