New portable router offers users added mobility with on-the-go network access
London, United Kingdom, 18 July 2013: Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage and networking solutions, today launches a travel router that provides users with on-the-go high speed wireless internet connections.
The new portable AirStation Wireless N300 Travel Router quickly and simply transforms any wired device into a Personal Hotspot, giving users added mobility and convenience with the latest addition to Buffalo's AirStation range.
Buffalo's new wireless networking offering provides speeds of up to 300Mbps from any cable connection, and includes an integrated USB power cable and a break-resistant LAN, making it ideal for use with laptops and smartphones.
In addition to travel use, the AirStation Wireless Router also has a guest port feature, which enables users to share the router's wireless network with others, without disclosing the password. Users can connect multiple devices without risking personal security, by isolating the connection to devices with WEP and a limited UI change.

The device is the latest addition to the AirStation portfolio, headed up by Buffalo's world-first 802.11ac router and media bridge, which launched in July last year. The wireless family also includes Buffalo's AirStationTM Pro Selectable Dual Band PoE Wireless Access Point, AirStationTM Wireless AC866 Dual Band USB Adapter and AirStationTM NfinitiTM Wireless-N Dual Band Ethernet Converter, Access Point and Bridge, all of which enhance both home and office internet connections and network speeds.

The AirStation Wireless N300 Travel Router will be available from Buffalo's leading consumer device stockists in the UK, including Dabs, Amazon and eBuyer, at an MSRP of £XX, including VAT.
