May 31st 2013 - Solwise are pleased to announce a new product line, from Polewall, to their existing varied range. The Laserlink LH100 Optical Wireless Bridge from Polewall creates a new benchmark for wireless bridging by providing a high performance solution for connecting networks and devices together. Designed to be a cost-effective alternative to leased lines, it is engineered for both indoor and outdoor line of sight applications.
The LH100 Optical Wireless Bridge uses an iPhone app as a commissioning tool; the link is designed for ease of installation, commissioning and operation. A web set-up is also shortly to be made available. The LH100 supports throughput up to 100 Mbps over range of 250m with no interference and it is license free.
The Polewall LH100 Optical Wireless Bridge can be used to provide either:
- The sole connection.
- The primary connection with an additional technology providing redundancy.
- A redundant connection in conjunction with other technologies such as fibre.
Applications include
- Enterprise - connect LAN segments across buildings
- Surveillance - connect cameras across car parks, roads or factory floors
- Broadband service provider - Fibre network extender. Connect more subscribers'
