New sub-£100 wireless 108G MIMO ADSL 2/2+ router – the DSL-G624M
D-Link, the leading provider of networking and communication solutions to the consumer, SMB and enterprise markets, further extends its technology leadership with the launch of an all-in-one MIMO router combining ADSL2/2+ compatible modem, four-port Ethernet switch, onboard firewall protection and 108Mbps MIMO wireless connectivity.
The flexibility, security and sheer speed of the DSL-G624M makes it ideal for small business users and consumers alike, and is available for less than £100.
The DSL-G624M uses D-Link's latest MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology to provide up to eight times better radio signal coverage.
Furthermore, it features the latest ADSL2/ADSL2+ standards, providing speeds of up to 24Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream (ADSL2+), or 12Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream (ADSL2). Combined with wireless speeds of up to 108Mbps, the DSL-G624M offers a real throughput 15 times faster than that of 802.11b equipment. This enables customers to effectively implement high-bandwidth applications such as audio and video streaming, on-line gaming and large file transfers over a wireless network.
