MARKHAM, Ontario - March 19, 2003 - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX:ATY,
NASDAQ:ATYT) announced today that Comtech Technology Co. Ltd, has chosen the
NXT2004(tm) VSB/QAM Receiver and the NXT6000(tm) DVB-T Receiver for its latest generation of digital terrestrial tuners. Based in Taiwan, Comtech manufactures tuners, modules and converters for set-top box (STB), cable TV and RF related products

The tuner/demodulator products are intended for terrestrial and digital cable compatible TV, set-top box, and PC-DTV (personal computer-digital
television) products for countries using the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) and the DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting Project-T) standards.
