Taipei, Taiwan – AirLive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for networking and communication equipments, has just announced its AirLive WLA-9000AP Hi-Power Multiple Mode Wireless Access Point with 2 radios for WISP to empower their wireless networks. Two radios ensure the coverage much stronger and wider than one radio and the Super A/G mode brings high speed 108Mbps. The AirLive WLA-9000AP features 2 Atheros radios, that run in 5GHz and 2,4GHz mode to combine these bands in a wireless network efficiently.

The AirLive WLA-9000AP developed for complete indoor/outdoor application provides cost effective solution for building wireless network.

The radio 1 runs in the 5GHz mode only while the radio 2 runs at the 11a/b/g dual band mode. AirLive adds high power amplifier to the WLA-9000AP at 23dbm in 11a mode (200mW), that is 4 times the output power of normal 11a radio (50mW).  In addition, 3 programmable LAN ports are available for multi-mode AP/Gateway configuration.

The AirLive WLA-9000AP offers Dual WDS Bridge mode, Dual AP mode, AP+WDS mode and AP+Client mode and in the near future will offer more wireless modes.

The AirLive WLA-9000AP is equipped with and 802.3af Power Over Ethernet Port, therefore it is not necessary any separate POE Splitter. When used with the optional POE adapter and DC Injector, it can operate at up to 100meter away from the power source.

Multi SSID is provided to create different wireless networks using only on AP. Control over the service content of each SSID network allows the TAG VLAN feature and QoS allows prioritizing the different package and triple play of Voice, Video and Data. Security assures WPA2, WEP and WPA function and Client Isolation function.
