ELSA launches range of CRT Monitors for
Professional CAD and

multi-media development markets





THEALE, 9 August 2001- ELSA has announced the launch of two

high-end CRT monitors aimed at the CAD and multi-media development markets.



The move to launch a CRT range in the UK follows the

introduction of ELSA's flat panel LCD screens in July and trades on ELSA's

15-year reputation in the European professional display market. ELSA is well

established in this specialist market in the UK through its professional 3D

graphics board.



The first two products in the ELSA CRT stable are both flat

screen Trinitron colour monitors. The 19" ELSA ECOMO 532 CRT display and
the

21" ELSA ECOM 751 models offer zero optical distortion anywhere on the

screen with 50% less reflections than conventional CRT technologies.



ELSA's UK marketing manager Peter Griffin commented, "With

industry leading tube technology and casings designed to the highest

standards of German engineering we can offer a product that has the

performance that professionals need with superb ergonomics and certification

with the main European and US quality and safety bodies."



The ELSA ECOMO 532 19" CRT monitor has a visible area of

365mm x 274mm and offers resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 at 85Hz and is priced

at £449.99.



The 21" ELSA ECOMO 751 CRT monitor has a visible area of

338mm x 291mm and delivers resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 at 81Hz and is

priced at £849.99



Prices are inclusive of VAT and the products are covered by

a three-year warranty. In the UK ELSA CRT monitors are sold via specialist

distributor Mentor.
