Working, watching films, burning DVDs – the Averatec 4200 injects joy into mobile living. Not only due to the colourful design but especially because of its ultra bright screen as the Averatec 4200 works with AveraBrite™ Technology and offers up to 128 MB shared memory Video RAM. This does not only imply a pin sharp picture with WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels but the display is with a brightness of 250 cd/m2 up to 50% brighter than traditional notebook displays. This means a clear picture even when working outside in the bright sun. The Averatec 4200 offers plenty of reason to enjoy mobile working with Smart Lithium-Ion batteries providing a run time of up to 3.5 hours.
The interior of the Averatec 4200, the first Sonoma notebook by Averatec, works with an Intel Pentium M 730 processor with 1.6 GHz, offering mobile performance with Centrino Technology. The working memory with 512 MB and an 80 GB hard disk ensure enough space even for large files. Additional equipment all comes in multi media format: DVD-Dual (+/-) burner are standard on board as well as a 4:1 Card-Reader for multi media Card, SD Card, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro. Wireless LAN (802.11g), Ethernet and modem are integrated, as with all Averatec notebooks. Stereo loud speakers and a video exit complete this equipment. Quick and easy connectivity is enabled via High Speed FireWire as well as three USB 2.0 ports.
The Averatec 4200 also delivers comprehensive customer service. A one year Pick Up & Return warranty coupled with a low cost help line 08712 40 50 60 is something other notebook manufacturers usually lack.
