The Asian notebook manufacturer returns to the European market with his new extended product range

Taipei, Taiwan, 29. August 2003 - Twinhead International Corp., an innovative developer and manufacturer of portable computers, digital cameras and LCD monitors, today announced that it will strike back to the European market with its own brand name and a wide range of exciting new products. Hence, the new marketing strategy includes an exclusive distribution channel for enhanced market presence and image campaign.

With its progressive products, the extraordinary dedication to quality, continual improvement and its customer oriented philosophy, Twinhead soared to become the number one notebook maker on the Asian market during the past decade. Twinhead's notebooks earned a lot of best product awards and design prizes from reputed magazines.

No doubt, Twinhead's recent Notebook series, featuring Intel’s Mobile Pentium4 processor, its digital cameras, LCD-monitors, PDAs and Tablet PCs, are much more than just state-of-the-art technology. Now these delicate products are provided to the customer more directly than before. For European markets, Twinhead will create their own distribution channel under co-operation with local distributor networks for their brand name products; optimise and merge local channels for better efficiency; strengthen their European wide service network with their current subsidiaries in the UK and Germany; reinforce their marketing strategy and, last-but-not-least, increase local service efficiency to a 24-48 hours express care service, including accommodating warranty conditions.

Furthermore, Twinhead plans to intensify its alliances and joint ventures with OEMs and to outsource the production of LCD and plasma TV, digital video and DVD recorders to facilities outside Taiwan.
