Engine Software today announces that it will be exhibiting at the Games Convention in Leipzig this year. Booth G13 in Hall 2 will be the location where representatives of Engine Software will be available for talks and Dutch coffee.Engine Software will use its presence at this year’s GC for three specific reasons. First of all Engine Software will be setting up meetings with game publishers from all over the world to discuss any wishes and/or openings for handheld game development projects (NDS, PSP), or Nintendo Wii (WiiWare, WiiRetail). Second, Engine Software is interested in setting up meetings with new development partners for the outsourcing of partial or full handheld game development projects. Finally, Engine Software will be introducing the new Pulse Sound System (DS Audio middleware) to interested parties.
Ivo Wubbels, CEO at Engine Software states the importance of the GC as follows: “ In the last couple of years Engine Software has been steadily growing, as a company, as a business partner, and as a development studio. Exhibiting at the GC is the next logical step in our ambition to increase our market presence, and it underlines our desire to grow our clientbase, and number of projects. “
Engine Software is currently working on four new Nintendo DS titles that will be released this year or early in 2009. Two recently finished Nintendo DS games (“Think Kids” for DTP Young Entertainment, and “Tropix DS” for REAL Games), as well as the debut WiiWare game “BANG!” will be released in the coming period.
Should you want to meet with the representatives of Engine Software at the GC, we advise you to set up an appointment prior to the show. To do so, please send an E-mail to the address provided at the end of this press release, and please state your area of business. We hope to meet you there!
