VapoChill^®
CPU
cooling system is
released Monday 9^th of September 2002.

Based on years of
experience and highly skilled employees asetek’s R&D department has successfully
developed a new generation of the
VapoChill^®
CPU
cooling system.

Compared to the previous
generation VapoChill^®
CPU cooling system more than 30 system improvements
have been carried out on the new generation. The 3
major innovations includes:

1. The new generation
VapoChill^®
CPU cooling system is now available in two versions:
a VapoChill^®
Standard Edition
and a VapoChill^®
Premium Edition.
The difference between the two versions relates to cooling capacity only. The
Standard Edition and Premium Edition, respectively, removes up to
130 W and 160 W
of heat and cools down to remarkable - 25 ºC
and - 30 ºC allowing rock stable clock
frequencies between 25% and
60% above standard clock frequencies. The
Standard Edition will more than satisfy any PC
enthusiast seeking the ultimate in CPU speed and performance for years to come -
the Premium Edition is for the PC enthusiast
wanting a few extra minus degrees cooling capacity.

2. The new high-tech and software based
ChillControl™ is designed with a
NoiseControl™ feature allowing adjustment of
fan speed on both the cooling-unit fan and the COOL
HDD™ fan, adjustable compressor speed feature, new display showing
evaporator and case temperature (ºC / ºF),
compressor and CPU speed.

3. The new and
redesigned VapoChill^®
Case is designed
with finger screws and side panels for easy access, 3 additional Hard Disk Drive
mounts with space for optional COOL HDD™ fan,
Blue LEDs for HDD and Power indication and new
paint finish. It has also been extended in size leaving more room for DIY users.
